Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only offer lessons in rock?
No, not at all. We pride ourselves in teaching many genres of music like Classical, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Pop, Bluegrass, and Country.

How does your program differ from the School of Rock?
Our program has some similarities in which we combine students to play together in a band-like environment. Where we differ is that we provide lessons with multi-lingual teachers in Spanish, French and Italian. As mentioned above, we teach all genres of music and not just Rock & Roll. Also there is no obligation to take private lessons along with your group/ensemble class.

Is music theory mandatory in your programs?
We urge all of our students to accept theory along with hands on instruction. That said, one is not obligated to.

Do students have to bring their own instruments?
We understand that many of our students come directly from school or work so we do supply keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, electric basses, Banjos, Mandolins, violin and viola (not all sizes available).

Can you combine a private lesson with a “Rock’Scool Live” program and is there a discount?
Yes and yes! Although it's not mandatory, we often encourage our students to take private lessons so that their learning experience is that much more gratifying. We offer one free lesson per month to any student who registers for any of the group ensembles.

Do you offer lessons at home?
No, not as a normal option. However, under certain conditions and circumstances we will consider it.

Do you rent out your studios?
Practice rooms are available for solo rehearsals when not in use. Please call ahead for information and to reserve a room.

Do you also rent instruments?
We rent premium band and orchestral - teacher approved musical instruments. Rent now!

Do you still provide sound and backline rental?
Yes! We kept that service available to all customers. Here's our backline list, which gets updated regularly.

Do you offer delivery?
Yes – not just delivery but setup, breakdown and pickup as well!
